About Us

Post-Mastectomy Women's Club "Amazons" is a self-help, non-medical organization supporting and giving practical help to women affected by breast cancer.

The move to help women with breast cancer in Poland. The goal is givining emotional and practical suppot to women affected by breast cancer, help them in making personal decsions and finding motivation to regaining health and gaining a best-possible life quality.

One of the important goals of our organization is spreading information about the necessity of early diagnostics of breast cancer, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Currently there are about 15 tys. amazons in 140 clubs, which in 1993 created the Polish Federation of Post-Mastectomy Women's Club "Amazons" with the headquaters in Poznaďż˝

The Federation is a member of international organizations: "Reach to Recovery" and "Europa Donna".
